Warm showers and other miracles
OK, bevor you start rolling your eyes, I will say it by myself: I love to life in a city!
It’s not as I couldn’t apprechiate the nature and all that stuff. The last days at the Baikal sea were great as I was feeling better. But I also think, that there is nothing better in the world, than beeing back in civilisation and taking a warm shower, using lots and lots of soap and smelling again like a bouquet. It’s just wonderfull and I really like that!
Besides, there are also funny things to experience in the city. For example our spice-lady. This woman has a a little shop at the market that is about 1x1x1 meters…no joke!
And even if there is so little space, you can get there everything for cooking. By now we are just planning from meal to meal, so that we have already been there serveral times buying so exotic things like salt, pepper and bouillon cubes. She already had to think that we are suffering malnutrition and donated us a powder that looked like cacao and by the way also gave us a recipe to make a cake out of it.
The result:
A kind of siberian brownie with a topping of cream and sugar. The taste is indescribable, as the berries, the powder is made of, are only growing in siberia. But it really tasted verry good.
