This is really, what we needed for our stay on Cat Ba Island:
A TYPHOON!

After having already caused damages on the Phillipines, typhoon Megi is comming now in our direction (yellow cross) …
We are thinking of buying some Water and something to eat and watch the forces of nature from our secure Hotel-room.

… maybe we also have luck and the typhoon changes direction to the north ab

We will stay a few days longer on the island and enjoy the typhoon …

Its really quiet and we are the only guest here! Imagine this: Sleeping without earplugs
Maybe we will see each other again on the island?

Until now everything is calm, a sunny day without any clouds and no signs of a storm!

Perhaps there was no need to buy an electric generator, 50 l water, petrol, 20 kg rice, 3 chicken, the AK-47 rautomatic-riffle, 2 flares, a pack morphine and a boy of Hanoi Vodka?
